Fly Fishing @ Rainbow Trout out at Busch Wildlife

I went to check on the Rainbow Trout out at Busch Wildlife but nobody was home. I arrived about 7:30 am and I am guessing that it was too warm for the trout to be very active around the lake today. Rainbows prefer a water temperature range of 55° -60° F. But as the temperature drops over the next few weeks, the Rainbow Trout fishing should be a lot of fun in the five stocked lakes at Busch Wildlife. I normally visit Lake 28, but today I fly fished at Lake 21. I drove by 22, 23, and 24 and saw quite a few people fly fishing and using spinner rods. All in all, it was time well spent just being able to get out and enjoy the day.
